       we are about to enter a new year and miss universe nepal is on the way to represent it's country to the international platform.  With 18 contestants competing for the title on  30th December. Let's talk  more about the miss universe nepal representative and it's history. 

Nagma shrestha (National director )



Nagma shrestha is the National Director of Miss Universe Nepal organization. She is the miss universe Nepal 2017, Miss Nepal Earth 2012 and is the first Miss Nepal to represent in Miss Universe pageant held on 26 November 2017 in Las Vegas, USA. With due to respect of nagma many Nepalese girl will get an opportunities representing  Nepal at Miss Universe stage. With her determination and resilience attitude. Her dream of representing Nepal at Miss universe platform  has opened the doors for many Nepalese women , not just women but also LGBTIQ+ communities and NRN girls as well.. The legacy she has brought to many girls has become a symbol and hope of never giving up.. 

Manita devkota (Miss Universe Nepal 2018)





Our second representative for miss universe 2018 was manita devkota .

After giving a huge impact in Miss Universe stage by Nagma shrestha . It was Manita devkota turn to prove her capabilities. It has been only 2nd year of debut in Miss Universe , Nepal placed Top 10 in the most prestigious International pagent. Manita a public health student has beeen involved with a organisation called ' Days for Girls Nepal ' to empower Nepali girls and women who have been facing menstrual health challenges . Manita's goal in life is to become a law makeras a law. "Many women are not well represented when it comes to being in decision making positions.  We only see men and I want more women to be in those positions, so that women issued are heard and they are addressed. So I want to become a lawmaker"; said by Manita.

The day she landed in a beautiful country thailand she was in everybody's radar ,from  the pagent fans and former beauty queens as well. She was getting attention from different international pages i.e. Elitethaliand , voguethaliand and others. Manita also raised the highest money in Miss Universe 2018 Charity Show. She raised 310,000 Thai Baht ( Nepali 10 lakhs rupees/USD$9,600) .

Manita's communication skills and her killer catwalk ( In swimsuit and evening gown ) has made her placed in top 10 semi finalists in the contest.  Even the Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray said that Manita is a great speaker and very approachable girl . She feels gravitated towards manita devkota in which possible Miss Universe should possessed.  Manita showed the world, Universe rather that Nepal is true potential country for Miss Universe.

    How far I've come For me school has always been a place to learn and fun. During my childhood days, I donot remember crying for not going to school due to love for the school .                      I was born and raised in Chitwan, Nepal. Miss Universe Nepal 2020 Razani Mishra (Contestant No.1005)

  Miss Universe Nepal Universe Nepal is the first all-inclusive beauty pagent in Nepal and also the first ever beauty pagent in Nepal to be conducted digitally  from registration till training sessions.  From this year Miss Universe Nepal is now a separate based pagent and the current Miss Universe Nepal (2019) is pradeepta Adhikari. Our second legend who has made till top 18 is Razani mishra. Razani Mishra (Contestant No.1005) Razani mishra is 23 years old , born in Nuwakot district of Nepal but  currently  living in Kathmandu at the. she has completed her studies in CA( Chartered Accountant). Rajani says" Miss Universe Nepal, should be someone who can be a pioneer , someone who can lead them, who can aspire to inspire and carry forward the legacy of our 3 brave , bold and beautiful former queens whose work and drive had inspire so many of us.
